With the Maha Kumbh being one of the most spiritually significant events in India, Mangaldeep saw an opportunity, not just to sponsor tradition, but to extend it. The goal was deeply meaningful: enable millions across the country to participate in the Maha Kumbh’s rituals, even if they couldn’t be there in person.
The challenge? Recreate a spiritually rich, emotionally resonant experience digitally, without losing its authenticity.

We built a digital pilgrimage rooted in ritual and reverence.
To bridge the physical and spiritual worlds, MakeAR developed a 360° virtual Maha Kumbh experience that transported devotees into the heart of the event. Through a beautifully shot live 360° environment combined with interactive AR, participants could take part in Hybrid Deep Daan, where their virtual prayers were mirrored by real offerings placed in the Ganges.
A branded virtual store added emotional depth and brand relevance, turning devotion into digital intimacy.
